The generator is free to try. When downloading, an evaluation license will be emailed to you allowing a 30 day trial. All features of the generator are available to evaluate without restrictions.

The CTC Configurator is included in the download and installation of the generator.

When purchasing the generator, a license key enabling the full version will be issued and it is not necessary to download and reinstall the software. All configuration settings used while evaluating the generator will be maintained when enabling the full version.

Users of EAE are required to download and install the CTC Generate Gateway. This provides the necessary interface allowing the EAE Generate Environment to invoke add-in generators for Component Enabler implemented in .NET.

In addition to providing the necessary interface, the CTC Generate Gateway can also be configured to capture diagnostic information about the generate when required. When configured, the CTC Generate Gateway can write the data for generating the user interface application to a file. This can be used by CTC for diagnosing problems with the generate process without requiring a copy of the entire model.
